Surprise visit to EcoTec bicycle program

p4p_logoThe bicycle program at EcoTec S.A. had a surprise visit from a group of North Americans travelling through Nicaragua. John Alexander had worked with Pedals for Progress founder David Schweidenback as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador many years ago and insisted that the group make a detour to see their activities in Jinotepe. They enthusiastically toured the warehouse and offices of this P4P sustainable partner and left convinced of the value of this bicycle recycling program.
